The secret of how one can easily memorize the song is simple yet beautiful harmony.
Pinky: Please tell us about the new songs that you both composed and arranged together!
YC: At live in Tokyo Dome, every member of TVXQ had each prepared their own SOLO performances. The other three members’s song were already decided early on, while we had not decided yet. We were both worried, “what song that will be good to be sung~” and then the process came naturally, “Let’s just do it together.”
We already have a song that was arranged by both of us together before, but for a long time never been used. Therefore we decided to carry it on.
JJ: That’s the case. There was 40 – 50,000 people coming at the Dome at that moment and my heart said let’s create a melody which everyone can sing along together! With that, we tried to create this simple but beautiful song. When the melody was fixed, the it’s fixed, that simple. We don’t have intention to make it difficult. The melody of this piece was created at once.
YC: I wanted to create a melody that is suitable for Japanese. The arrangement composition was running smoothly.
JJ: Arrangement was done by me and melody was by Yuchun.
YC: A little more fresh melody was created!
JJ: Yes! ! as I told you, when we created the melody, surprisingly we really enjoyed it a lot. However in the recording time, my voice was not in its good state at the moment, so I had to repeat the recording for 3 times. It was such an effort.
P: In the new song, you both really sound impressive. What do you think a “beautiful harmony” is
YC: You there, please answer this! (immediately)
JJ: (laughs). Well … beautiful harmony is something “that comes straight from the heart” I think that it is. Yuchun, please say something!
YC: … but being compared to the harmony that two of us created, I think the harmony of us as five members is more difficult. Gathering five individual voices of each member into 1 single voice is really a hard work.
P: Let me ask a little more bit, do you have a recipe to make a perfect harmony when we’re singing this song in karaoke?
JJ: Tohoshinki’s song is also very easy for women to sing. So I don’t think it will be that hard for male to sing too? This song starts from the main voice first singing, then the second voice comes down following (starts to sing)
YC: We have to feel the point by ourselves.
JJ: (singing and continue to explain) oh it is pretty tough to explain! !

JJ: Tohoshinki really sweat a lot more than any other artists, but I think that’s the good point of us.
YC: If the audience is very hype, then we will do whatever we can no matter what.
JJ: But we didn’t always control our own strength, we might have this thought, “we have save our physical for the next stage, we have to control our own strength,” but in the end we always over-do our power. Therefore, at the final stage, we always become such a mess (laughs).
YC: Everytime, we look like we can die together (laughs).
P: You two seem to be mature than your actual age, it is very attractive.
JJ: Hah! ? Whom are you talking about here? ? Junsu? ? Do you mean I have an old face?

YC: Because I don’t like to wear socks. Last year, until November, I kept up with beach sandals, so this year, I will try my best again! I have around 20-30 pairs, and if I buy one, I will definitely wear it for 1 to 2 years.

YC: Yeah we went, both of us. Jejung did singing while I did drinking.

Korean-Japanese relations have remained frayed since the second world war, as Japan has never officially apologized for its colonization of the Korean peninsula between 1909 and 1945. As a form of cultural revitalization after its liberation, Korea banned all cultural imports from Japan, and for decades the two countries' pop markets developed largely in isolation from one another, which created the roaring black market pop trade of illegal CD-Rs. (This is not, however, the only instance of people committing crimes for J-pop).
But in October 2004 the Korean government lifted the ban on Japanese cultural imports, and in the five years since, pop exchanges have flourished. When Japanese pop group Arashi turn up in Seoul for a press conference these days, 2,000 screaming fans are waiting for them at the airport. They can easily sell out week-long stints in arena-sized venues in Seoul, despite not speaking a word of Korean.

[NEWS] 090923 Seoul District Court Rejected SM’s Preservation of Evidence Cancellation Request
SM Entertainment (hereafter SM) filed a request to the court to cancel the submission of “preservation of evidence” application as being requested by TVXQ members Hero Jaejoong, Micky Yoochun, and Xiah Junsu, however, the request was rejected.
One of the litigants through a phone call with Money Star News on the 23rd said, “On last 18th, the court rejected SM’s cancellation request of evidence preservation. Claimant side’s, the three TVXQ members, preservation of evidence application is still up and will receive document submission related to earnings from SM.”
The Seoul Central District Court prosecutor explained the reason of the rejection, “The fact which has been drawn up is about legal relationship between the artists and their agency company, and in compliance with law of civil procedure article 2 section 344, the document holder side couldn’t refuse to submit the documents that become object of document submission order assertion from the complainants.”
On August 5th, Jaejoong, Yoochun, and Junsu side submitted a preservation of evidence to the court to calculate the real income distribution of all TVXQ activities from SM Entertainment. The preservation of evidences demanded including accounting books, contracts, receipts, journals, and any relevant documents related to the income distribution calculation.
With the court rejection, seems that the document release by SM is now inevitable.
Currently both sides of SM and 3 TVXQ members has been waiting for the court decision after the first hearing on 21st last month.

"COLORS ~ Melody and Harmony~" which was performed at their last stage of their 4th Live Tour, at the Tokyo Dome, will be released on 30th September. Different from Tohoshinki's usual style, don't miss out on the unique voices and harmonization from this duet! We asked a lot of questions about this duet that has been formed for the first time!
--What kind of feelings did you have as you sang?
JJ: When you're sitting in a car or train and you see the passing scenery from the window. The friendship and love you have. You didn't realise it, but you're surrounded by happiness. If listening to this song can give you this kind of feeling, that would be good.
YC: Just like the feeling the song gives off, even when you're busy, you can make time for a breather. I sang it with this thought in mind.
--How is it different from when it's the 5 of you?
JJ: It's lonely! When we harmonize there's only the two of us, so its nerve-wrecking. But because the filming time is short, so a lot of times, that's good.
YC: It became more natural. It didn't require acting or expressions, so there's no choice but to be myself.
JJ: It's true that it's natural with the two of us. When Yuchun laughs, I will follow along and laugh as well. But it wouldn't be good if I can't control my laughter (laughs).
--What kind of activities do you want to do in future?
JJ: I want to do Lives. The two of us can do Lives at smaller venues, I think it will be a different feeling if its the 5 of us.
YC: It's rare that it's just the two of us. So compared to dances, I want to do Lives where we perform our hit songs.
--"COLORS" is the theme song for Hello Kitty's 35th anniversary. Your impression of Hello Kitty is?
JJ: It feels like a lot of colours will appear, it's the same feeling as the song. No matter which is it, it can make people feel happy.
