The video of a French, blond-haired youth who has come to Korea to study because he has fallen for TVXQ has become a hot topic on the global video sharing site Youtube.

This video was an excerpt from KBS2TV's '30 minute documentary - we are studying Korean' that aired on June 2nd and showed the youth speaking fluently in Korean, even though he had only started learning the language two months ago. His secret behind his success was that he would ask random citizens passing by the meanings of riddles he did not understand.

The French youth Misani is currently a freshmen at the Pusan University of Foreign Studies and he became an avid fan of idol group TVXQ after hearing the Korean song by chance in France. He also came to Korea to go to a TVXQ concert and ended up staying in Pusan to learn about the Korean culture and language.

The narration states, "He already knows how to speak eight languages such as English, French and Chinese so he's confident about his foreign language learning skills but he says that since there is a culture difference in Korea, the riddles and the idioms are very hard to learn."

Non-Korean and Korean viewers alike who watched the video left comments such as, "He's only been learning for two months but he's really good," and "I want to be able to speak Korean well too, I'm jealous." There were also comments such as "I'm learning Korean right now."

The video that was uploaded in June has had over 50,000 views and is gaining popularity.
